Alcuin started to protest at the assessment of love, but to be honest, he wasn't entirely sure that Mohinder was that far off. So he simply said, "I suppose we shall simply see what happens. In any case, I will enjoy your company this evening."

"I believe I can safely speak for Rupert to say that we will also enjoy yours."

When they stepped out into the snow, he glanced at Alcuin. "A moment, chere," he said then ducked back inside to see about Rupert. It seemed unsafe, not to mention unkind, but his lover waved him off with a quip about LSD and London fog and sent him on his way.

Wrapping his scarf about his throat, he stepped outside again, found Alcuin's hand and led him off home.

The two of them made their way through the snow, hands clasped tightly together. When they arrived, Alcuin reached up and unwound the scarf from around Mohinder's throat. "Why don't you put on some hot water for tea so that it's ready when Rupert arrives?"

"An excellent idea," Mohinder answered, though he made no move to do so. The alcohol and marijuana had faded from his system somewhat, but it left him warmed inside and pleasantly aroused. Blinking down at Alcuin, he slid his hand beneath Alcuin's ponytail and tipped his head up for a slow, thorough kiss.

He'd start the tea in a moment.
