Sheesh, after reading that *I* want to be a 9 year old girl and get lost in American Girl stories and drink chocolate milk and swing lazily on the porch swing in your backyard while the summer slinks by!

I'm glad you took some time to smell the roses. It's all too easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of daily life on this world. I pray you have more opportunities to just let the world pass you by as you stop and snuggle with Houdini.

And I pray you continually feel those surges of life.

Ah, yes. Those were the days. The days where your biggest worries was whether or not the cartoons on Saturday were going to be re-runs and whether Dad or Grandma was going to be making the pancakes.

Man, my kitties learned pretty fast that I am a sucker for a tummy. Now they'll roll over at the slightest provocation. A cat sleeping on you with their tummy up like that is pretty much the greatest sign of trust that a cat can do.
