Why do I feel this would lead to a lot of falling down and tripping? On the plus side your hands are free to break your fall.

My favorite scene in the infomercial for these is the whole family in them in the bleachers at a sporting event.

My grandmother used to have one of these way back when I was in elementary school. These look like (from the lousy pictures on the website) a fleece tube with head and arm holes. Grandma's zipped and snapped its way into Snuggie(tm)ness from a basic blanket shape.
