Just wanted to write a general entry about all the stuff that happened lately. (What, LJ is not just made for reviews and memes? What are you talking about?)

Sooo, what to tell. I've been obsessing real hard over "Jesus Christ Superstar" lately, after watching the London/2000 production again together with pandir and antares. I already watched it about a ( Read more... )

:D Good to see that your English is top notch.

And who knew that the day would come when the filler episodes of an anime would be better than the actual story itself?

Well I wouldn't say top notch, but I'm a bit proud, yes :3

Usually I'm not so hot on filler eps, but with Samurai Champloo everything plot-related just bored me out of my skull, and everything lulzy kept me rolling on the floor laughing XD

You like Jesus Christ Superstar, for real? :O
That is my favourite musical of all time ever out of all of the musicals I've seen! :DD Gaaaah, I've done so many crosscasts for it in all of my recent fandoms and I used to play the soundtrack all the time in the charity shop.

For Pokemon, I don't want you give you too many spoilers, but as a heads up when you reach one of the last three cities SAVE BEFORE YOU ENTER THE GODDAMN HOUSES. D: Because one of them has, um, a really powerful trainer who I wasn't prepared to battle me from the moment I walked in, who then proceeded to wipe out my team. >.> And I hadn't saved in ages, fail...

When I first heard of it I was in school. And since my school was pretty Christian and all, I was a bit fed up with... religion. And so I tried to avoid the musical. Then when last year winhall showed it to me, I found it pretty ok. But I'm not a big fan of musicals I don't know anyway (I think there are far too many musicals out there ;p). But then I watched it again last weekend and somehow suddenly I noticed how incredibly catchy the music is XD
And then about Christ himself... I always saw Jesus as a blank space of projection surface. I never understood him and why anything about him should concern me at all. After eight years on that school, nobody and nothing could show me Jesus so alive and... I don't know, palpable? So humane and full of faults. I just love this take on the story.
(Also, Judas. I have never seen anybody interpreting his character so interestingly different and far from black and white thinking.)

Oh, ok, thanks for the warning XD
I only know Cynthia is running around somewhere. Damn I hate that bitch.
