AA Drabbles

May 09, 2011 16:32

A little collection of AA drabbles, three of them I wrote today in a sudden rush of inspiration on my way home from university. One some of you maybe already know from the artist's description of one of my fanarts over at DA.

Well, actually, it's more of a Gavin drabble collection, since it's mainly all about my favorite German lawyers. As I already ( Read more... )

The first one takes a concept that could have gone either way for me and really makes me think about it. Klavier having fleeting desires to kill people he's never met because of Kristoph is really creepy and interesting; I'd love to play with something like that.

And of course I remember 'Can't Take Apart' too. That's another really interesting concept for the potential obsession between these two. I think pretty much everyone who writes the Gavin brothers together really wants to play with making their relationship as twisted as possible, but I probably don't need to tell you that because everyone's trying for twisted there's so much I've seen done before. Both of these ideas I haven't seen done before in Gavinfics and that makes them both much more appealling to me.

Play, play all you want! I'd love to read it ^^

That sounds like a contest! XD "Who writes the most f*cked up Gavincest?!"
...But I actually don't feel like participating. I hate contests, since I'm such a sore loser ;)

I can't get over the fact that the idea of Kristoph's "heart" being blindingly bright white inside and Klavier's being total darkness not even he dares to explore is something I had in mind for months now... I wish I could flesh out that idea more since it's so perfect in my head >_

Haha, maybe I should sometime. ^^ But lately I've been feeling nervous about writing the Gavin brothers for exactly the reason that I mentioned in the previous comment. XD

Pfffft, it wouldn't take long in fanficland to find contenders who could floor both of us for fucked up Gavincest. :P But like you, I don't take losing very well so would rather not. 8D

That idea is awesome too, but with something like that I'd want to see more into the why their hearts are that way. With Kristoph I'm fully convinced that everything he does he believes is right, that's how I RP him, so I can see the bright white in that regard. For Klavier... I guess maybe he's so cheerful and peppy that he doesn't even feel it in himself anymore, like pretending to be nice to customers at work for a real life example. But that's just me babbling, it's probably completely different to what you intended. XD

Now you're making me feel really insecure about writing and drawing Gavincest, stop it! XD
Though I actually haven't seen *that* much good effed up Gavincest, since to me it's important it's... I dunno, subtle? You can find in-ur-faise-psychopathy everywhere. What really intrigues me is subtlety.

No, actually that's quite right. But that's what I mean when I said I need to flesh the idea out more, I'm not 100% sure of why I have this image in mind about these two.
Everything that is inside of Kristoph he knows about perfectly, but he protects it, and you will never see because he actively shines so bright you can't look.
While Klavier has secrets he himself does not want to know about and is mortified of. He tries to pretend they aren't there, it's like there's a hole inside of him he has learned to ignore completely, or maybe ignored since the beginning of its existence, and now it's so large he couldn't fill it if he tried.

/tl;dr
I'm sorry, I'm interpreting way too much here ;)

Oooh, pretty Gavins~ ♥

An unusually deep connection between the two would certainly explain why Klavier was all incomplete and literally broken after Kristoph was taken away from him.

Glad you like it ^^

I am still wondering if this connection works both ways...
