I think I have gotten out of the habit of updating my lj, but I can't cite the excuse of having a facebook because... I haven't gotten one yet. But do not bother me, I will get one on my own time and then I will stay in touch with all the fabulous people who are not staying instate

I return noon-ish on the 4th, so there will definitely be ample time for earring shopping, which is good because I am hankering for some earrings as well!

so wait, are you gonna keep going by Squishy in college? do you introduce yourself to new people as Squishy? or Amanda? or AZ? I prefer Squishy, though Amanda is fine. ... that makes me kinda sad to think about. don't ask how I started thinking about it, because I tried to figure that out and couldn't.

I figure I will still be in the presence of people who call me Squishy, thus I will be Squishy to some and Amanda to others (which is how it was in high school). So you do not have to start calling me Amanda now if you don't want to... I too have gotten used to the name Squishy!

I wasn't planning on changing, but it's a relief to know you don't expect me to. otherwise there'd be a battle of wills or wits, and I'm not sure I'd win either.

Yay! I've been worried that nearly everyone has abandoned their ljs, but slowly life seems to be seeping back onto my Friends page.

Anyways, I think the whole country is overly warm this summer, though green sounds nice. Enjoy until you come back
