As I lay in the middle of a tub filled with water and bubbles, I can't seem to think relaxing thoughts. I have tea-light candles covering every other inch of my bathroom, and even resorted to popping Enya into the music player. What bubble mixture am I using, you ask? Bath and Body Works' Sea Island Cotton. Take that, Victoria's Secret ( Read more... )

Well, Bath and Body Works is with Limited Brands and so is Victoria's Secret so you're not really doing anything wrong. I know this because I love me some Bath and Body Works and felt guilty when I found myself shopping there one day in disguise and then someone told me that it was okay. Japanese Cherry Blossom all the way though!

Maybe a little part of me wanted to be rebellious. I'll have to scheme up something else, apparently. Do you own the entire product line of Japanese Cherry Blossom?

You tried! Now shopping at Frederick's of Hollywood? That will probably do it. Well, if by the entire product line you mean the lotion, body spray, bubble bath and body wash then I do! I know they have like the little perfumes, but those always smell awful to me.

I was actually going to ask you about the perfume, because I bought the Sea Island Cotton perfume and it smells okay, but doesn't last long at all. So I have the pretty bottle still full with the scent.

I had to ask someone to use their laptop so I could see this, since it wouldn't show up on my phone. I wouldn't have gone to those lengths for anyone else, I'll have you know!

Technology doesn't like me lately, but I'm trying not to let it win! This old girl's still got some fight in her.

I played violin for two weeks in 4th grade. A friend convinced me that it would be a great idea but I got bored and frustrated too quickly to continue. And I've never had a goldfish that lived past the one month mark, they're tricksters, those fish.

It certainly helps me to appreciate violin players, and the fact that they can control those darn instruments. I wonder why goldfish die so much. Perhaps they're made differently or, I don't know, in a more fragile and delicate way than other fish? Something to research someday.

anything that smells like clean laundry, which is generally the cotton scents, is my absolute favorite! i bet that bath and body works line smells like a dream! also, i had a goldfish once that lived for almost 11 years, i feel it should have been in the guiness book of world records, or something. and the last thing i'll say (since this is probably huge already) is that i think you're so gorgeous and the media is out of their minds

Oh, the Sea Island Cotton scent is so amazing, if I could drink it and have it emit from my pores, I'd do it. And oh my goodness! Eleven years, Carrie Underwood? That makes me partially jealous, but also partially impressed. Did you sing to it every night? Feed it Miracle-Gro? I'm intrigued to find out your secret. And shucks, thank you. You're very sweet.
