Chinese New Year

Went down to the Chinese Cultural Center today. Was really looking forward to getting some paper cuttings, but they were not there despite being on the festival list. Also, a parking machine ate our money.

I did however, get a really really tasty custard bun, so it all worked out.

Come February 9th in Chinatown Los Angeles, I hope to attend the annual Golden Dragon Parade celebrating the Lunar New Year of the Rat or Mouse.

There will be a similar Parade at the Chinese Community Center in Georgia, altho we're more like "China Street" than a town. :-p

I am becoming a custard addict, I think. o.o It's a good thing it's not easy to get to those, or I would be munching constantly.
