It's a good thing the joy of books outweighs the pain of getting bookcases. Got them home and one may be damaged.. we think it's cosmetic though. We sure hope it is, cause.. returning bookcase.. bleh!

Lazy weekend, not done much but I'm glad today was a holiday ("Family Day") here in Alberta. Three day weekends are always nice.

Annual go-to-every-bookstore-in-Lethbridge trip. I has lots of new books. Well, secondhand new books, and couple new books. Also had a nice lunch at the cheesecake cafe. Mushroom Cheddar Chowdar with homemade chips. Chips as in chips, not fries ( Read more... )

Had the folks over for dinner, played Disney Trivia. Food didn't come out quite right, but it was okay.

Got some stuff done at work too.

All in all, good day.

Really tired tonight, so early to bed. Was a bit crazy at work - didn't get much done, but constantly busy with one thing and another. Ah well, tomorrow should be calmer.

Got my hair trimmed again - one thing with short hair is more frequent hair cuts. Pretty much just picked the place nearest the house, but turned out pretty well. And for once, they only put 1 thing in my hair, unlike the pile up of 4-5 unidentified hair products I used to get tossed in there by my old stylist ( Read more... )

Just a quick post - pretty regular day, got a good amount of work done at work, had some waaay too sweet cake cause it was someone's birthday, and spent the rest of the night playing pirate. :D
