Joss can give permission, but what about the companies he is producing for? Doesn't matter what he says. If he makes Avengers, he doesn't own copyright for them. Stan Lee and Marvel do.

Stan lee loves it and marvel will most likely say budkus cause most of the creative stall came from showing people like Stan and Terry fan fan art. All the comic companies troll Dvart for new talent.

The comic end should be fine as long as no one is making money off of it.
