Car Insurance

I'm looking into switching car insurance companies.  Anyone have any suggestions?

Geico seems to be cheapest, but I don't know anything about that company that the little lizard hasn't told me.  Anyone have a positive or negative opinion of them?  Or of any other companies?

We have Geico. With Jason's 2 different accidents we didn't have any trouble from Geico, they were actually very helpful. The delay we had with the first one was the body shop, and Geico extended our rental car payments an extra few days past the standard coverage because there was nothing else we could do. They actually saved us money too!

I'm glad you said good things about Geico, because I just bought the policy from them last night. Another friend of mine had a good experience with them when they were the company of the person that hit her, and it was so good that she switched her own insurance over. I'll be saving about $400/year over what I was paying with Farmers.

I haven't even heard of Travelers... But, now I have Geico, and hopefully I won't have to deal with them for any reason, but it sounds like if I do, people have mainly had good experiences.

I have renter's insurance, but that's through Farmers, and I shopped around to find the cheapest rate when I moved. When it comes due again, I might look into Geico, but I don't have to think about that until about August or so.
