Ok. Me, and, despite raging cases of the flu, my girl and my brother, got the RecNo Mardi Gras float finished. On game day, many wonderful people showed up to don fake armor and plastic weapons and march down Church Street. It was loads of fun. Because this is Burlington VT and not New Orleans, Mardi Gras VT style is a pretty kid-friendly

Sweet Thunderdome!! Yay for you for bringing a little grit and apoctalyptica to Burlington. Good God, I *never* remember Mardi Gras being a big thing at all when I lived there... perhaps I was living under a rock or something?

I think the MasterBlaster guy could be ritually sacrificed out in the woods somewhere. You could start the East Coast version of Burning Man! Maybe out in the woods off the north end of the bike path near Colchester? That sure is a desolate patch of landscape, or at least it used to be. Or, perhaps he could be strapped up on a lamppost, Jesus-style.
