Yesterday my daughter-in-law was offered a teaching position at a year-round school in Mc Henry, Illinois. She accepted and we went out to eat to celebrate. Because Scott is in construction, they felt they could not seriously look at buying a house until Jessica had a job. So not the hunt begins. I'm happy for Jessica and her new job but sad about the rejection. HF seems like a hard sell these days -- unless you write a novel. Hint-hint! Maybe you should set it aside for awhile, work on a new project and then pull it out sometime in the future and look at it with fresh eyes. It's too good a story to give up on. It just needs to find the right editor! If only that were easier...
