Movie soundtrack for your life. The rules:
1. Put your music player of choice on shuffle
2. Scene one = first song played, scene two = second, etc.
3. No cheating/skipping
4. Pass it on
Opening Credits:
Slick Rippin' Keen (Commander Keen 5) by Mazedude. Actually, this song totally works as an opening credits song for like, some goofy space-age comedy or something.
Waking Up:
Conga Trance (trance control, from bLiNd's Club Trance Mix). It's a... trance song. There's not much to really say. 1:30 long intro, doesn't really start ramping up until about 2:03.
An Ordinary Day:
Audio Epic by SGX. Pretty classic SGX, with dreamy melodies, hot beats, and distorted, crunchy drums. The track itself is a little subdued and dreamlike, which makes it a bit appropriate as a normal day...
Falling in Love:
Laura, by Flogging Molly (Alive Behind The Green Door). Man, my falling in love song is a story about a guy who watches his girl leave him, and so he misses her. God damn it, my soundtrack sucks.
The Rumble:
Fight!! Ver.1 (Grandia II: Deus) by Moriyuki Iwadare. lol.
The Break-up:
Major Tom by Peter Schilling (Retro Night). Some retro 80's song that isn't really that good. I think it's a cover or a remix of the Depeche Mode song.
Getting Back Together:
Zak McKraken - Fascinating Firer (OCR Idol Round 1) by Post No Bills. OCR IDOL SONG! It's a round-one song, though, which means that it's a bit noobish. I think PNB was one of those guys who could have been selected for Round 2, but never actually submitted in Round 2. There's some cool stuff in this track, like the DnB drumwork in the middle, but the production can use some touching up to separate the muddy midrange and give some more snap to the drums. Oh OCR Idol, you were fun.
Life's Okay:
Starting From Night (Wild ARMs 2) by Michiko Naruke. Well... I guess everything's okay. O.o
The Mental Breakdown:
Where Is the Right Path? (Grandia III) by Noriyuki Iwadare. I get a sad, slow, emotional song for my mental breakdown.
Cruising:
4 Dead Monks (Original Demo) by Red Snapper. This song sucks.
The Flashback:
master dj by stf, from super best trance v. A dance track. Anyone like dance music? It's not even really trance.
The Frat Party:
The Wayfahrer (Japanese Bonus) by Nightwish. lololol. Goth operatic metal frat party.
Everybody Dance Now:
Ocarina (Song of Storms), Legeld of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. You've got 8 seconds to dance.
Regretting:
Three of Darkside (Seiken Densetsu 3) by Hiroki Kikuta. Yay, creepy ambient song.
The Long Night Alone:
Time Lord's Realm (SaGa Frontier) by Kenji Ito. This is another rofl selection.
A Death:
Prism (T. Signal Street Version) by Shinji Kakijima. I don't know what they're saying.
End Credits:
Fortune Teller (Star Ocean: The Second Story) by Motoi Sakuraba. It's nice and peaceful and suitable for a game over, I guess.
My soundtrack sucks.
