I'd heard about this and read a little about it earlier, but of course it's a more powerful impact hearing it.
I have to say that I'm impressed at how emphatic, clear and cogent a position that the Obama administration is taking here, and how well the Secretary of State delivered it.
It's good to see these positions that they'd had crystallizing in this way. Kind of makes me wonder if Hillary Clinton approached the White House with a 'if you really mean this, can we put our policy where our mouth is?', but I suspect this was collaborative over the whole of the intervening time between State and the WH.
Sort of a 'how brave can we dare to be? How can we dare not to be brave?' kind of thing, eh?
