More NaNo glurge

In my infinite dorkitude, I just created a little comparative graph of my NaNo progress. It plots the days on the x-axis and word counts - both daily and cumulative - on the y. Without this I wouldn't have figured out that while I'm on track to cross the 50,000 word finish line, I also have a gradually dwindling daily total for the last three ( Read more... )

I think this is something that became a problem for me (and other NaNos). You kinda lose the mojo of where you are currently because you're thinking of other scenes you want to do later.

I have actually been keeping track of these things on note cards and though I haven't had to pull one out to save myself I have been adding to them. I'm sure I'll need to skip ahead soon. I barely made it through last night lol

Yeah, it's a major downer. WAAHHHHH Don't wanna do necessary filler for cooler scene later WAAAHHHHH.

How did you plow through last night? I gave up this afternoon and worked on other stuff.

I've started doing something similar to keep track of good ideas! I found a Firefox plugin called Zotero that is freaking awesome. You can make little notes and annotations that you can tag or catalog later on. It also has a bitchin' search feature.
