Oh, my G-d. I love Stuwwelpeter. Taking 1 and 3-- those are my favourite stories.

I've heard of Die Struwwelpeter. #1 looks like it might be him, but I always heard he had scissors for hands...

That's not Struwwelpeter, that's "Der Schneider" (literally means "the cutter"). Struwwelpeter isn't in any of these that I made... He actually has long nails, but they could be mistaken for scissors at a quick glance. I'll make another set with him in it.

oooh, how about the boy who wastes away in FIVE days from not eating his soup???!!

i totally forgot about the scissor man. must have surpressed that one.

my fav though is the cats crying over pauline. and all that's left of her are her shoes, poor thing.

Thanks for the link... I might've been there on my search for high-quality Struwwelpeter scans, but I can't remember. I actually made these icons a while ago. I'll be making some more for the other stories this weekend probably. You're welcome and thank you!

oh.my.god! i can't believe you've made icons of this! this book scared me so much as a kid. i'll never bite my nails. not taking any (no one would appreciate the humour but me) - but they're awesome! thanks for making me laugh.
