I have uncovered a fantastic manipulative descriptor of my sporadic ramblings. Unfortunately, this delightful implement shows that only a rudimentary comprehension of language is necessitated.

That's it - I'm blaming my low score entirely on COMMENTS!

On the other hand, it also means I'm very easily accessible.

My blog apparently has an elementary-school reading level, too. I don't know about other folks, but I certainly didn't know what "serialization" meant when I was in grade school. Much less "vodka".

Good point. I have no idea what metrics that site is using, but considering I gamed it by using $0.50 words over my usual $0.15 words, it is probably more interested in frequency of rare or complex words over content and grammar. Though you'd think that serialization would trend towards the rare side of things.

Well that was, after all, the point of doing it! Hey, maybe it is worth cracking open the thesaurus now and again. The problem lies in that flowing over into my writing at work. I already get prompted to tone it down from using complicated words like "implemented" and the proper placement of prepositions in sentences.

Yeah, because "implemented" and the proper placement of prepositions are too advanced for the average adult to understand.
Wow. I feel your pain.

I can't read classic literature because I start to talk "funny" afterwards.
