( Read more... )
Yeay XD lol, I saw a girl w/ a shirt today that said: I'm a sucker for guys in eyeliner xD xD I couldn't agree more ♥ Although, mine would probably say: I'm a sucker for *Japanese* guys in eyeliner XD
I have given up trying to convert people, since in 90% of the cases, the little interest they had is decaying if you don't look after the people every minute... and some people are soooo picky x-x and I very quickly get tired of handing stuff to them only to hear that they don't like it ^^''''''' and many people are just plain stubborn and don't even bother to give it a listen. Well, plus I decided that Germany doesn't need any more fans, there are enough stupid people in the 'scene' already X_X'''''' and it continues to spread...
nice to hear that school's going well ^^ for me too, at least at the moment ^O^
Yeah, it's tough to try and convert people.. The biggest complaint is that they can't understand the lyrics... To me, that's what makes jrock so unique~!♥ Besides, it's pretty easy to find translations online.
Cool~! Are there alot of asian rock fans in Germany? Have there been any concerts there? I *think* there's quite a few in the US, but I live in a small town so I'm not too sure..
Yeah, and really, I do not necessarily have to understand what is sung to enjoy music o.o a beautiful melody is a beautiful melody, no matter whether you can understand the lyrics or not...
Yeah, there is quite a number here ^^ so far we had concerts of Eve of Destiny (they come soooo often o.o and they were the first Japanese band ever to play in Germany ^^), Balzac (they had two whole tours here o.o), BLOOD, DéspairsRay, Kagerou, Moi Dix Mois, Dir en grey, Onmyouza, and in December follows a live of Celestia Le Ciel.
In the US were Psycho le cemu, L'Arc~en~ciel, T.M.Revolution, BLOOD, Phantasmagoria and DéspairsRay, as far as I know. They mostly had lives at anime conventions, while in Germany, only the BLOOD live was at a convention and all the other lives were not included in a con. Oh and Eve of Destiny often take part in 'normal' gothic music festivals.
I want L'Arc and TMR over here, you can have Moi Dix Mois for them and if you like, you can keep BLOOD forever (I, personally, hate BLOOD >_>) *lol*
Wow, that's awesome! You been to any concerts? I would *love* to go to a jrock concert. I'd like to see Pierrot, Gackt, Miyavi, Plastic Tree, or Art-School XD I actually haven't heard any BLOOD songs..^^;;
:O You have Japanese in your school? =_= you suck. j/k you lucky bastard. <3 :p but yay I'm sure that you know way more nihongo than me so you can help me!! wee~! ~Love and Lemons
Gomen ne (I'm sorry..) Actually, I take independent study and I use books to learn. It's kinda tough on your own, but i'm pretty independent. And when you've got an initiative (jrock) it helps^^ I don't really know that much..^^;; You can probably teach me! Oshiete kudasi~ (teach me please)
oh~ I've been trying to teach myself with yesjapan.com and my grammar books and stuff. xD; I wish I had some textbooks. ;_;
I can only read part of what's on your user info xD {'nihongo wa hito kanji ki desu'..? and 'エリン'..kana 'ri' kana. xD; maybe. I don't know any katakana x__X} I really need to study more.. ~Love and Lemons
Actually, you can order a music gift card from Japan and use it with iTunes Japan~!! It's at this site: www.jlist.com I found Miyavi's latest single~♥ There's no Pierrot tho T_T And not many indies that I've found. Sony Japan hasn't signed on w/ iTunes Japan yet..

Ah, it says: [nihongo wo daisuki desu] meaning 'Japanese love is'.
In English: 'I love Japanese'. XD
エリン is my real name: E-ri-n^^ ya, I'm no good at katakana either.. I prefer hiragana.

I have an iPod, but not a credit card to order music with yet. =)
If they do... man they'll be making a killing off me.
