Ok guys guess what!! MORE ORIGINAL STUFF YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT
These guys are the main characters of the story I wrote for my Writing for Comics class. They're pretty much elseworld versions of Aiden and Kari + this dream I had where I made up a bunch of stuff because I don't actually know anything about Avatar, so they're like some weird mix of Aiden, Kari, Sokka and Katara. IF YOU COULDN'T TELL.
Their names in the script were Callis and Carilse, but if I ever do anything with the story I'll probably change them to something simpler. I don't know. I might do something with the story though, since my writing teacher really, really liked it.
Hey guys, a bunch of drawings of Rio and Xan because I have no sense of perspective on drawing the actual lead chars!! The heights are kind of off here but the point is Xan is short. I liked Rio's face, even if Xan looks kind of dumb and weird.
These go together! I was simultaneously trying to figure out what Rio would look like after a couple of weeks living in the woods (which they do every so often for hunting) and what the hell Xan's accent sounds like. Right now he's pretty much just Skwisgaar from Metalocalypse.
I have a system of writing Xan's language out in comic dialogue that's going to be really irritating and foreign looking, but also pretty easily transcribable if someone figures it out and has no life. I'll try writing up some samples of it sometime except nobody cares but me;;;
Plus! trying a different hairstyle for Xan.
