okay i still have not perished. i was just putting off ljing, hoping i would at some point gather up the will to update on past things. now i've just decided to do a quick update on the recent past. Sziget, historical funtimes and Bulgaria still coming some time later ( Read more... )

WOO GRADUATION! Congrats on being a Master's student and looking all spiffy and whatnot. I'm jealous that you still get taught proper courses and stuff.

Also, are the white gloves mandatory? It MUST have been pretty warm under all that garb.

White gloves are mandatory for pretty much any and all university graduation ceremonies (at least the ones I've been to/seen photos of), even in cases where silly clothes are not. We were given the gloves for free. (we could not keep the robes or the hat, of course, though that would be a hoot on Hallowe'en)

Haha, we had to hire our robes and hats too... No gloves though, but they're a nice touch. Almost Mickey Mouse-ish.
