"In times of trouble, may the Lord answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. Nick, this was great. Your posts lately (and always, really) are such an encouragement to me. Anna and I discussed this evening how much we both enjoy your friendship and what a decent person you are, to put it in terms that are only found in books written by British authours (I threw in a very British extra "u" there, just for good measure).

I pray that the LORD will provide just the right job for you in due time. Also, I wanted to apologize that I wasn't able to see you on Sunday-- I ended up going to the 9:00 service as I had a lot of homework to do. But it would be great to see you there sometime soon, hopefully this next week.

Fare thee well, in a very non-goodbye-ish sort of way. :)

That is quite a delightful thing for you both to say, and I gladly reciprocate the statement. Normally, I like to say that any person with arms, legs and all their organs is a decent person, but in this case I shall thank you and sincerely say that you are quite the extraordinary individual. Design skills that kill and a photographer's eye that makes grown men cry. (Anna and I were just chatting over Facebook in rhyme)

Thank you for prayers, and it was no problem to not see you Sunday. I ended up getting entangled in many a conversation after church and showed up right before the start of service.

Post-scriptum: Update your journal when you have a spare moment. That would verify your status as a true gangster.
