A bad bout of cystitis went a bit wrong last week and my kidneys got inflamed. Wednesday and Thursday I felt very dodgy, and then by Friday I was in bed shivering and boiling, unable to get comfortable because of the pain and deliriously trying to do Google searches while not actually connected to the internet. It's been deeply shit

Poor you. I don't have chickens experience but I sure do hae kidney infection experience and know just what it's like. Speedy return to full health.
