this is, indeed, a righteous rant.

ANYthing a person wants to do well, they have to practice. and even with a gift for language you have to keep working at it.

the whole idea of smoke being blown up all asses at all times, and everything handed to everyone on a silver platter just frosts *my* butt too.

I don't know what makes me more angry: the wounded bird scam or the people who fall for it. But... rant over.

I love that "wounded bird scam". It evokes exactly the right feeling in three simple words. Awesome!
