The wind woke me up just before dawn this morning.  It is blowing a gale out there.  You know, you watch the weather reports and the National Hurricane Center from June until the end of October.  And finally you say, "Storm season is over.  Whew ( Read more... )

Me too!

So far no crashes this morning. Everything seems to be running at top speed. Bob also put a security key on the wireless router. IMMEDIATELY our internet speed went up. I think one of our neighbours just lost their free wifi. ;)

Now I'm going to put on TG4 player (what I was watching during the last crash) and really push it.

Could the "sad" be related to social interaction? You work from home - so no office coworker interaction in that part of your life... the appointments you mention all involve talking to someone else. Don't get me wrong, husbands are lovely and all - but it's not the same.

Oh yes, it's possible. I don't have nearly the amount of social interaction I had when I worked in an office. And yes, I used to get sad in the mornings in PA too. So yes, that could be the thing. Planned social interaction -- knowing I'm definitely going to talk to humans in person today.

I'm an extrovert. I often forget that without human interaction, I have no energy from which to draw.

The guy who rejected your blog didn't just reject it outright like many would have. He told you why he couldn't use it. This tells me he wants to use it but it needs tweaking so it will appeal to his audience. I think that's positive!

Well, he can't use it because it doesn't fit the style of his blog. But he is being being persistent in encouraging me to write something more casual for him. He's written me twice with suggestions! So yeah, he definitely wants me to write for him. Which is awesome.
