Melody update

Melody has pneumonia, not metastatic cancer that's reached her lungs. Very relieved at the moment, even though she's showing no interest in food. We really though we were going to say goodbye to her this morning, but her bloodwork is all clean except for an infection. Azithromycin to the rescue!

Definitely good news. When the bloodwork comes back normal, it's always good news.

She's had one dose of antibiotics and is more placid than she's been in a week.

Yeah. I'll take treatable any day.

She's a little distressed this evening what with trying to get into the right posture to breathe and all. But she's eating again. And she's much calmer than she has been.
