Well, she's eating like a horse. She went through an entire package of chicken thighs yesterday and ate a beef liver today so far. But she's not drinking. We literally have to force water on her. It's weird. But we're doing it

A friend mention the other day that, with her lung issues, she may be uncomfortable bending her head to drink. But she doesn't seem to mind bending her head to eat at all.
I don't get it. But I'm offering her water every few minutes and she will take a sip each time. I'll take what I can get.
We know, as beloved pet owners, how fighting for them is the way you do it. I am fighting for my cat Emma right now...she has been my little Princess for 18 years, and you do what you gotta do. I had an old cat once who was diabetic and needed insulin shots 3 times a day. I would leave wherever I was at, to do this for him. It was hard, but he deserved the loving care he got. Keep up the good work, and my hugs and blessings for you and Mei-mei.
She's acting a bit playful tonite, so we know eating is making her feel better. It's good to see her happy. She was so weak and miserable yesterday.
We have them for as long as we have them. We take joy from every day. We thought she was a goner six months ago when she was diagnosed with osteosarcoma. But she recovered and became healthier than she'd been in a couple years. That was a blessing. Every day since has just been gravy.
And now she's yelling at me. Clearly she thinks there should be more chicken thighs. =)
