A good start for grad school.

I just got my grade for my first grad school class. I got an A! :) Technically, I received an "A-" according to their unofficial standards, but it was a 94.5 (95 & up was an A+). I think that's close enough. I feel satisfied, besides, the University doesn't post pluses or minuses on transcripts. I will admit that I got a lower grade on my paper ( Read more... )

Congratulations!

And at least those minuses don't get stuck on your transcript...only at the University of Alabama does a 4.0 mean you need a 98 or higher in all your classes....AND WHAT PROFESSORS GIVE 98s TO 100s?!?! None of mine do--most of them refuse to dole out anything higher than a 98 on papers--and only ONE 98. In a class of 150 people.

Bastards, Alabama contains.
