I'm in a similarly great situation :) I have one year left in grad school. I'll be a GTA (we call them graduate teaching assistants) for the 2009-2010 school year, assisting with an American Government class - with a tuition waiver. And I feel your pain about no time! My GTA position is 10 hours a week, plus working 20 hours at my job (I work for a state senator), plus 9 hours of class (3 classes).
I foresee a lot of complaining about student in our futures, hahah :)
Lol, there probably will be a lot of complaining if I remember how freshmen act in one credit courses. Congrats on your GTA position, too! Yes, that is also what we technically call them here, but I am more used to hearing people say "the TA." Man, my GTA position is twenty hours a week. I am a little jealous, hehe. When does school start for you, Hannah?
Thanks! I'm going to be in San Diego assisting professors at a conference next week and then classes start for me the next week, August 17th. How about you?
