The Bucket and the Beast
Six months into their exile, she sliced through the darkness and silence of space.
Fifty years old, the protector and provider to a small fleet of civilian vessels that had managed to escape the destruction of the Twelve Colonies, Battlestar Group 75 was the last of her kind.
Suddenly a large ship appeared on DRADIS. Newer, more powerful and nearly twice her size, Battlestar Group 62 possessed superior weapons, flight decks and armor; his forward battery could devastate a Cylon basestar with a single salvo.
She launched alert fighters.
With Colonial transponders, Pegasus signaled her.
Galatica hummed, welcoming him home.
