Through the Glass, Clearly
Each passing day brings her one step closer to Death.
Time is a luxury she does not have.
His eyes never leaving hers, he steps from the Raptor, his approach steady and sure.
She stands before him. Her eyes lock with his. She’s never seen blue like this before. Not even across the sky.
“Missed you.”
“Me, too.”
He takes her into his arms, holds her tight.
And she is home.
Tell him now.
A whisper in his ear spoken from her heart.
She has faith. He has hope. Together they find love.
And the greatest of these is love.
