Something More Comfortable
William Adama sat at his desk, pretending to write in the ship’s log. But his eyes weren’t on the page. They were on her. He was mesmerized.
It was a familiar routine. Blazer hung on a chair, shoes toed off and abandoned, shirt pulled from the waistline of her skirt, bra unhooked, loosened and removed-without ever unbuttoning her blouse. He found the ritual fascinating.
She knew his eyes were on her. He was her motivation for the nightly performance.
He knew she knew his eyes were on her. It was all an act.
She turned and faced him. “Admiral, I was wondering if you might help me with my zipper.” Her voice was coy, clever and definitely sexy-just the way he liked it. He met her smoldering gaze then flipped the log book closed with a smack, pulled off his glasses and stood.
It was a slow, deliberate walk across the room.
“Of course, Madame President. Your zipper?” He was behind her, his words hot and breathy in her ear.
She shivered. “Yes,” she whispered, leaning into him. He smelled incredibly good.
He ran his hands roughly down her sides. Then with a quick flick of his wrist, her zipper was down. He slid the skirt over her hips and it fluttered to the floor.
She wasn’t wearing any underwear.
Slowly she turned and faced him. “I would really…like to slip…into something…more comfortable.” Her words were labored as if she’d run a marathon straight into his arms. “I was thinking you might be able to help me with that, too,” she panted.
With one hand, he pulled her closer. With the other, he unbuckled his belt and unzipped his pants. “I recommend me,” he rumbled. “Slow and smooth. Unless you prefer it fast and hard.”
Laura’s breath hitched.
