“You can’t grep dead trees, Bill," Laura teased.
Networked computers.
A manual typewriter.
Who, What, Where, When, and Why-these were the main questions a reporter asked when following up and writing a story. Editor-in-Chief of the CAPRICAN TIMES was a good gig, but Bill couldn’t remember his last byline.
And he couldn’t stop thinking about the anonymous tip.
Toasters looked like humans; It wasn’t public knowledge.
Bill stared at the type-written words on the piece of paper.
There are only 12 Cylon models.
Dead trees had tremendous data integrity in proper conditions.
He was going to write the story.
