Saul’s own words echoed in his head.
“You want to tell me what happened to Ellen?”
Tigh took a steadying breath. “I could use a drink.”
Bill set a bottle on the table. “Me, too.”

The bottle was empty.
“Nice medal.” Saul tossed it onto the table.
Bill grunted. “I’m no frakkin’ hero.”
Tigh drained his glass. “Me neither.”
“In her eyes you were. Ellen loved you. She always did.”
Saul met Bill’s gaze. “In Roslin’s eyes you are. She loves you. Always has.”
