LOVE IT!!! Bill is so sweet, yet sly. Getting the books out right away, how could the schoolteacher, ah er... President resist? Hee hee!! I couldn't get the dame out of my head. Poor Bill never stood a chance. Lovely work and I love the ending with "again". Very nice!!

Oh, goodness, I love this. Everything from the title (which is a nice bit of poetry) to the last line. All of this has happened before, and it will happen again, and again. Lovely!

Some specific things I loved: Reading by firelight. Laura's little snort of laughter. I couldn't get the dame out of my head. Really, this was a perfect hundred words.

A new book and a fresh start. Very fitting, just like Bill's undoubtedly careful choice of the book. He really went to Kobol with reconciliation in mind, like it or not already ensnared by the stunning redhead!

Great work. Thank you

I love how he only offers that she sit with him, but as soon as she does he gives her even more, reading to her, inviting her to share a new world with him.
