I would miss human contact more than anything else, without a doubt. While I love books, and music, and tango (and salsa, etc.), loneliness IS hell, hell is loneliness...........

prison != solitary confinement. you'd have plenty of human contact. probably more of it than you like, especially with humans you'd normally not seek out.

Eh, I was distracted by the "Guantanamo" image, and indeed picturing solitary confinement, the worst punishment for the most dangerous criminals, which isn't the normal case.....
I mean: I would really miss the human touch, from people I love and appreciate....I guess you're right, that I would miss personal space a lot more!
