Pairings I Don't Get

Okay, here’s the thing. I’ve been doing a lot of fanfic reading lately. And one thing I learned back in a film class in college (not a class for making film, but a class on films) was that every Hollywood picture comes down, at some level, to one guy and one girl. Now, this is of course not universally true (what is, really?) but it is a good, ( Read more... )

Hey, Galloway :) Haven't seen you in a while, so I hope all is well :)

Interesting subject. I don't watch/play any of the shows/games you mention, but I know what you mean about strange pairings that don't make any sense. I think it's mostly a matter of taste but also the fact that some shippers need to see at least a minimal amount of canon potential in their ships while others can create chemistry between 2 characters out of thin air, even if the pairing is jarring, or even OOC, in canon.

Having said that, Camerah is a great shipper name :D

Oh, we do get The Sarah Connor Chronicles here; I've just never watched it. But I have heard good things about it, and, if I do ever get into it, I'll definitely check out your fics :)

Ugh. Sylar/Claire *shudder* But, yes, you should definitely stop by FF, if only to say hi :)

I totally agree with you about Sarah. I've only watched two episodes of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, and I have to admit that I enjoyed the John/Cameron, but that's because it was clearly there. Sarah/Cameron is totally NOT. Romance of any kind is not on that woman's mind.
