Damn, son, somehow the addition of owning your own home that makes you automatically More Adult. (To be fair, there's a lot involved in the process of that ownership, so it's not unrelated in contributing to Putting on The Adult Pants. They could be leather!)
Congrats on the condo though! Hoping for a chance to finally visit and see it.
You're honestly better off just enjoying the Teen Wolf fic and avoiding the show and fandom. Trust me. (I've been out for a year now, maybe more? Still hear about how it's gotten progressively more WTF on all sides.)
With no condo buying in 2016, hopefully you'll be able to spend some non-work time on fun reading or something creative/relaxing. ♥
Your 2015 sounds way more amazing than mine, NGL. I managed to avoid the fuck out of taking the bar and remain poor and unbarred. That's pretty much my biggest "achievement." I also sprained my knee, got pneumonia, which turned into pericarditis, and got officially diagnosed with bipolar (which is good, actually, since I'm now on meds that work and I think I actually have a personality now).
My 2016 resolution: TAKE THE DAMN BAR JFC. If I pass: find a real legal job. If I fail: go back for my PhD in Linguistics. Because Life Planning and all that bullshit.
WE HAVE NOT TALKED IN AGES. I was actually in Chicago the other weekend and I FORGOT TO TELL YOU. Because I suck. I mean, yowza, the suckage.
Aaaah, it really has been too long! I can't argue with the fact that my 2015 sounds better than yours--pneumonia and pericarditis and injuries, jfc. I hope things are a bit better for you 2016 thus far? Are you or have you healed up a bit better?
I'm glad that you're getting the mental care you needed though. And you've always had a personality (don't kid yourself otherwise :3)
Good luck with the bar studying! If you ever want (general) tips, let me know! But for now I can tell you, you will freak out at least once during the prep period and think you're fucked. And no matter what anybody tells you, you'll think you're fucked. But really, as long as you practice the hell out of the multiple choice sections and make sure to write SOMETHING in the essays (I thought I was fucked for the essay portions because hahaha spent too much time on the multichoice practice problems), you will more than likely pass.
Life in general sucks so hard it's amazing we're not all ambulatory black holes, lbr here.
