Unsecure world it is

The school shooting in Kauhajoki - I bet everyone's heard of it already. My attitude towards it is quite the same as it was with Jokela... Except for now I'm really starting to get worried. Probably there won't be anything else in the news for a week or so but stuff of this incident. The reporters won't be interested in anything else but WHY the ( Read more... )

The guy's death annoys me as well. >.<

This whole things (and all the other tragedies that have happened lately) just make me... scared. Seriously, I'm not ashamed to say that I'm afraid to be at school atm. I mean, this guy was a copycat - who knows how many others are out there? D:
Yes, I know, I'm easily scared, but the whole world just seems so unsafe. :(

I know, my first thought when I heard about this was "I wonder when there'll be the next school shooting?" And then I thought they'll hit several schools around Finland at the same time. I'm not scared to go to school after the incident because I'm not scared of death, but I'm afraid that someone I love gets hurt. :(

(I'm certain I don't want to see A-J's grandma for a loong time... She'll just start ranting how terrible today's youth are xP)

I read the man did it because he hated the whole human race.

AND THEN there are a group of Christians in the US who are extremely happy that people died in the shooting. Said God hates Finland, and they're gonna come to Finland and interrupt the funeral of those who died. That's very nice of them.

Very nice indeed.
They've obviously missed something vital when reading the Bible.........

You should see the people in this school - there's a reason why everyone here are a bit nervous...
But the guys in my class actually made me feel a little bit better when they discussed the fact that most of those who got killed were women: they thought the men should've done something to protect them and to stop the whole thing.
I don't know what thy'd actually do is something like that happened here - maybe they'd panic - but anyway, it's comforting to hear them say that and act all brave. :)
