I can't believe it really over!! It's so surreal.

At first I didn't know how I felt about Arakawa giving us such a happy ending, but the more I thought about it, the more perfect it seemed. There's been so much pain and death up until now, it only seems right for our gang.

I had felt a little 'meh' over the recent chapters because everything was going so smoothly. This chapter felt perfect, though. The right amount of happiness, and considering how hard the gang has had it, they really deserve it, as you say ^^

I feel so spoiled now, it was too perfect for words xD

apparently, Roy didn't get his sight back
?????? The way I read it, Roy accepted Marcoh's terms for using the stone and therefore implied that he got his sight back???????

But yeah, the EdWin resolution was totally perfect, and the Al/Mei parts were the cherry on top ♥♥ Actually, the entire ending was just awesome and probably one of the most satisfying endings I've read in a while. (I'm not too worried about the "lack of a RoyAi ending" because they were practically CLINGING to each other for like, 5 chapters straight, and they were still together in the end XD)

It looked to me like that, too *shrugs*

I was thinking on you where I saw the Al/Mei parts xD And I agree with you about RoyAi! Besides, we had had several RoyAi scenes during the last 15 chapters or so. Since when we hadn't got any EdWin? Really, it's kinda annoying to see people complaining about the excess of EdWin. I may be biased, but it seemed fair to me o_o

Yeah, I think someone pointed out that Roy's pupils were black in the final picture and not white like when he was blind. I thought Marcoh's terms for using the stone were an "equivalent trade" - Roy helps the Ishvalans rebuild and lets Marcoh work as a doctor again in exchange for using a stone made from Ishvalan souls to get his eyesight back. (It's not like he wasn't going to help the Ishvalans anyway.) TL;DR ILU ARAKAWA-SENSEI.

AHAHA YES NEEDLESS TO SAY I WAS PLENTY SATISFIED WITH THE AL/MEI HUG ♥
I totally believe Arakawa-sensei will give us a Royai omake when the final volume is released! But seriously, that EdWin ending was MORE THAN I WAS EXPECTING for a shonen manga. Ed's dorky alchemist proposal and Winry's ridiculously cute answer!!! AND THE BABIES. THE BABIES. ♥♥♥♥

I just read the scanlation, and, you're right; those were the terms of the trade. Pretty clever from Marcoh, and definitely a brilliant move from Arakawa.

Oh, you also believe it? ='D But yes, the EdWin ending was EVERYTHING AND EVEN MORE THAN I COULD HAVE EXPECTED. The proposal was so dorkishly fail it's adorable, and the babies, OMG. What a way to tell us "and they lived happily ever after, people" ='D

He does! He isn't in a good form at first, but he recovers (and becomes utterly handsome) really quickly!
