Neither xP There's this belief that silver absorbs negative energies keeping them out of you, mom strongly believes on this...so, many years ago, she advised both sis and me to wear a silver accessory. Maybe there's some truth on it; as soon as my sister started wearing a necklace, hers turned black really fast and when she finally changed schools, the necklace disappeared. Now she wears a silver bracelet and it looks as good as new xD

As for me, mine got slightly darker. But this stopped when I got into Uni, it hasn't changed at all since then...

Draw you own conclusions xD BTW, both necklaces had a religious design, Virgin Mary and her child...so you could say it serves a double purpose?
