I need some magic in my life

Thanks for all your kind responses to my last entry, everyone ^^' I'm slowly getting to reply to all your responses. I still don't feel fine about myself at all, but...I'm slowly working on it...

Seeing that I just can't stand to be out of a hype the Pokémon one makes me jealous enough, I cheated and watched all of Madoka Magica in these last two ( Read more... )

I guess it just wasn't your thing? As someone who watched Madoka before Nanoha--I just started Nanoha last week but I'm not very far--I was shocked when I realized how much of Madoka was actually a Nanoha reference, ffft. I actually expected a completely horrible depressing ending, to be honest. So I guess I personally wasn't left wanting something happier because it was a lot more than I expected.

It's still disappointing that it wasn't my thing when it was apparently the thing for everybody else, lol. And being the hopeless sucker for good endings that I am, no matter how depressing things seemed on the last episodes, I always hoped for some kind of Deus ex Machina stuff to show up to flip everything. And I almost thought we got it, when Madoka turned into all God-like...really, we were so close >>
But I'm glad the ending was more than what you expected :)

Yeah, I know how that is :/ And yeah, it looked like everyone besides Madoka was going to start anew and be happy...but then Sayaka stayed dead and Homura remembered everything...

I actually prefer it that way. Homura's bit, I mean. Because even though she said she didn't care, it's incredibly sad for Madoka to have an invisible, never-ending existence where no one will never even remember her...so the fact that at least Homura can remember her is kind of...comforting? I agree it must be pretty hard for Homura, though.

I like happy ends too, but I do like the ending of Madoka. It's the best conclusion of everything, I think. Well I can understand if some people just can't really like it, since I can't really like some popular anime such as Angel Beats (it just 'like' for a while and passed on after I realizes the plot isn't as good as it was hyped.)

Meme, please? my songs are anime musics too

Well, I have to agree that all things considered, it was a gentle ending. It could have been really dramatic if they wanted it, but they avoided that route. Which is something to be appreciated xD;
And I haven't seen Angel Beats yet, but I know what you mean ^^' I know lots of people who love it, but I can't tell if I'll like it or not...

Letter R for you :)

Yes. Well Urobuchi Gen is behind the script and from what I heard, he's really a great writer (especially when involving bad and tragic ends).

Yeah, I'm not really suggesting AB if you don't like it going fast pace right in the end.

Okay! Will be doing~
