Between the thunderstorms, I went out and picked some daisies. Need to keep them picked so they will keep blooming. So, I was picking daisies in a light misty rain about 6:30 a.m. this morning... Frist wave of thunderstorms rolled thru at just after 5 a.m ( Read more... )

I remember hearing my Mom sing that song when I was growing up. She likes to sing when she is in a happy mood. And, we never asked her not to sing, she can carry a tune. Then you have people that can't carry a tune and have you wincing and wishing for ear plugs... hehehehee

My mom can't carry a tune at all, but when it's your mom, I guess you don't care. She always sang when cleaning house, and that's one of the songs she sang, too. :-)

Of course, I wake up smiling, and can't wait to get outside to smell the scent of Honeysuckle and other flowers floating in the air.
Thank you ... the thunderstorms are providing the rain to water the daisies and other flowers, so I can just enjoy them today, instead of having to water them.

I remember Tony was going to plant some flowers too, and some vegetables.
If you decide to buy some daisies to plant, make sure you get the " Alaskian Daisies," they are much more drought, heat and cold resistant they other varities of daisies.

It would be nice if the technology existed to let humans share a picture you can see in you mind... sort of like a digital cam for mind pictures. But, alas, the best you can do is use words to paint a picture to share.
