I found it hard to post yesterday,,,not knowing what to say, as most of my friends on Lj are American and being the anniversary of that terrible day, I just posted "Love and Hugs",,,I wish we lived in a peaceful world too, I remember when I first had children and the threat of nuclear war, if possible, was even greater, wondering what sort of world they would grow up in and whether I was right to bring them into such a world,,,,I'm glad I did but still wonder what their future holds,,,,,

sometimes a hug can say and mean more than words...

Besides " hug " is a word... and sometimes a hug can say what you can't say.

for the first time since 911 i went back to look at some of the photographs that were taken during that terrible period.... it took less than a minute for the tears to start rolling down my cheeks.

i agree, man's inhumanity to man was sadly served on that day and the world needs to listen to the message that delivers to us all.

Reminders of a very dark day in history that should never be forgotten, least it be repeated.

Thank you, Red Bull, I hope you and your special lady are keeping in touch. Time differences are the bane of a long distance relationship.

yeah we are very much in touch every day... if we don't get online, we call, if we don't call, we sms....

time diff.... well.... try this conversation during one call....
"good morning !"
me : "huh"
"good morning hon, did i wake you?" *giggles"
me : "errr.... yeah... " *looks at clock"
me : "errrrr..... why are you calling at 3am?"
"oops!"

yeah time diff can be a real pain.. but a nice way to wake up though :)))
