help... having PC trouble... how do I run " scanreg " ?

Not sure what happened to my computer, which has Win 98 SE on it... but when it first boots up it wants me to select option 5 - command prompt only and to run " Scanreg " because of a registry error... how do I run Scanreg... I have never ran it before... what is the command to run it from a C prompt

Hope you're having better computer times now.

(I know 98SE was running fairly stable the last time I visited my parents yet, though they don't stress it at all.)
