My Baba (or Grandmother) is 95, turning 96 in Feb. She has had an amazing life.

She is not well known, hasn't done anything so outstanding that everyone knows her but she has lead a strong, serene life where she had 6 children grow up strong and have multiple children of their own and so on. Some of her great grandchildren have kids of their own ( Read more... )

Some people just amaze me. I am someone who contacts people every day and invites them to come into my work place and offer them a job. When talking to some people on the phone, they have no manners what so ever. "Oh hey, Yeah I dropped off a resume. Sure ya want me to come in. So, we are now officially working on the house. We had a guy come over tonight after work to look at the floors and will have another one come by later in the week. I cleaned a whole 3 cupboards before we left. Progress is slow. Slower than my Baba crossing the road (Love you Baba!)

I haven't posted lately 'cus we've been busy.  WE BOUGHT A HOUSE TODAY!!!!! AND I'M FREAKIN' OUT!  We are now Officially home owners.. mortgage and all.  I feel.. so.. grown up about it
