Kathrine Pierce receives a visit from Elijah while still under his compulsion to stay in the tomb. He visits her to find out why she turned herself without consulting with him first. Feelings exposed.. And maybe he ends the conversation saying that he always knew where she was. He says it lovelingly enough, but still he walks away, hoping that maybe by killing Klaus he would finally have his shot at resurrecting the Kathrine he once knew.
