For the first time ever, Johnny’s WEST have their very own tv show! The show is called “ドヨルの妄想族” (Doyoru no Mosozoku), which is translated as “Saturday Night Daydreamers”. Quite an interesting title for a tv show I think.
The opening to the show was funny and cute and very JWest-like; especially Hamada Takahiro.
At the start of the show, Nakama Junta was explaining what is going to happen in the episode. While he was doing this, I couldn’t help but love the setting of the show. It looks really interesting and someone must have put in a look of effort here. Anyway, the show is about looking at a picture and trying to guess the story behind it. Then they will watch a mini-drama that one of the members made that goes with the picture.
To judge the winner for the episode, was Tsutomu Sekine; who I believe is part of the Kamen Rider series and a producer. He talks about a few of his memories about some athletes he has dated. Slightly interesting stories he had, especially about wearing this knitted sweater on a date.
So the first picture was a girl looking after a guy who looks to have been in a fight. This picture was taken by Shigeoka Daiki. He said that a hint to the story was glasses.
Anyway, the story was about a girl who only goes out with people that are good-looking. One day she met the stranger that gave her back her glasses or just gave her them. Sorry my Japanese isn’t that good yet. So these glasses show you what the person really looks like… Hint: Shadow Hal anyone! So the girl puts the glasses on and runs into the good-looking Shigeoka, who really is this balding man. So they start dating and towards the end of the date trouble arrives. Shigeoka gets into a fight to protect the girl, but the girls glasses fall off and she realizes the true about the man. In the end they stay together. Happy ending!
It was interesting to find out that Hama-chan has a crush on the actress Chloë Grace Moretz.
Bonus…
Shirtless Shigeoka!
Next picture was taken by Kiriyama Akito. The comments about E.T were funny, but it does look like E.T did crush into the tree. You have to love the face that Akito made before it faded into the movie. Cute!
So Akito’s story is about a guy who is training to a boxing champion, when he meets a boy who needs help lifting a box. While training in the park the same boy comes over and asks if he can become Akito’s pupil. Akito said sorry he can’t but if the boy can lift a bike over his head like Akito can, he can become Akito’s pupil. So for one year the boy trained to become strong and met Akito once again. With the boy looking really buff, he shows Akito that he can lift the bike over his head too. Quite impressively throws the bike and it lands in the tree. However, the ending of the story was a bit weird.
Finally it was time to see you won the “MMM” or “Most Moso Movie” award. And the winner was… Akito!!
At the end of the show, they showed a few NG scenes; Shigeoka messing up his lines and Akito lift the bike for the first time and realizing how heavy it is. Got to love NG scenes!
Overall, this new tv show for JWest is going to be very interesting and a good laugh. Can’t wait for the next episode!!
