Is it possible for withdrawal to get worse instead of better?

I do not know WHAT is wrong with my body, although I strongly suspect that sitting down and eating an entire loaf of bread would stop whatever it is. It doesn't like me right now. I feel a lot like BBC's Sherlock in the opening scenes of Hound of Baskerville (now where did they hide that secret stash of shredded wheat?). Anyone got a harpoon I can

gluten-free

Unfortunately, yes, withdrawal usually gets worse before it gets better. But if it goes on for more than a couple days, maybe you should see your doctor. Could be your immune/inflammatory system is acting up, or you could even have caught a cold or flu virus and be attributing the symptoms to withdrawal. Drink LOTS of water (like at least 16 glasses a day) to help flush out your system.

Hope you feel better very soon!
