Prop Update:

Working on the wild arms props, not much to show just yet, This aresol woodstain is wierd wierd shit. It's got more fumes than spraypaint, so that space heater has to be shut off most of the time. Also, it runs like water. T__T So anyway, I put on the first ivory latex paint layer, and compare to the website pics of the tutorial I found ( Read more... )

Hey my room mate is actually looking for someone to make some props for a show this summer. Any interest in working for a commission on some piratey fire arms? Pistols, blunderbuss etc would be the idea. I can give you his email or something if you're interested. He saw your gun though and seems pretty keen on having you make something for him.

Wait till you see it when it's finished (thursday)!

It really depends on when the show is. I have about 8 things to finish up still before Acen, but I'll be looking for other projects after that. Pirate props for theater would look great for the portfolio I'm putting together for a theater propmaster apprentice job I'm looking at getting this summer.

I guess he doesn't need them until 2 weeks before the show, and the show starts in August, so any time before that is fine.

Awesome going for the propmaster thing. I've got a friend in Vegas who's been the propmaster for the Cirque show KA for a few years now and she's pretty much got one of the coolest jobs ever. This coming from me..
